The Adonai Dwelling™ curriculum is designed to engage users via free video game content.
Adonai Dwelling™ video game Bible studies are augmented with in-person, at-church study groups.
Additional resources include a printed workbook and in-person group event materials.
“Bizarre is best. Distinctiveness matters. If something is unique and it stands out, you tend to remember it better and you may reflect on it more.”
Margaret O’Connor, Associate Professor of Neurology at Mass General Brigham (Dec 3, 2025, The Harvard Gazette)
The primary learner styles used in the majority of Bible studies are Reading/Writing followed by Auditory engagement (often videos or in the form of group sharing). Visuals that add insights are rare. Kinesthetic learning is the rarest to find for older learners.
A visual novel video game offers a user a four-fold crossmodal neural response, thus engaging the human brain across Reading, Auditory, Kinesthetic and Visual memory thresholds. This in turn allows for the greater odds of a retained memory which can be acted on in the future.
Reading/Writing learners excel with written text, such as books, handouts, and note-taking.
Auditory learners benefit from listening to lectures, discussions, and audio recordings.
Visual learners prefer diagrams, charts, maps, and graphic organizers.
Kinesthetic learners thrive through hands-on activities, physical movement, and practical experience.

Video games are not just for entertainment any more. In 2020, the FDA approved the first prescription video game for kids with ADHD. Our studio develops "serious-use" video games for educational and training purposes.
Research shows four critical things are needed for any successful training experience, virtual or otherwise: realistic practice, spaced repetitions, contextualized scenarios, and critical feedback. In-person, at-church studying is vital to augment a learning experience.
Neuroplasticity proves that the brain is malleable (2017, International Society for Neurochemistry). Just like any other training exercise, reading and repeating God's Word physically alters brain structure. We offer another form of studying God's Word to transform minds.
